Anne Boleyn Deri Doll by
derina (over at Live Journal). (The photo was taken by Deri as my camera sucks and won’t take a nice photo GRRR!) And a portrait of Anne Boleyn of which the doll is based.
With the insanity of my life over the last two weeks I have not had time to sit down and write a post about my beautiful Anne Boleyn Deri Doll that I received in the mail! derina
made this Anne Boleyn doll for me personally and I cannot even begin to express how much it means to me! Isn’t she just BEAUTIFUL?! Let’s just say when the package arrived I bounced inside of my house squealing like a fangirl – I was rather excited! From the moment I opened he package I was in love! My Anne Boleyn Deri Doll is utterly stunning! She is so beautiful and perfect and the detail in her clothing and jewelery has just blow me away! Her underskirt is a dark brown embossed with a beautiful swirl design and this matches the cuffs on her sleeves. She also has the finest lace petticoat which had black stitching for the trim. Her French hood is absolutely breathtaking and the detail in the pears stitched on is just incredible. And her necklace… oh my gosh, there is even a tiny B hanging from the beads. Anne is just BREATHTAKING and I love her to pieces! She sits on my desk next to my computer screen so that I can look at her every day.
Next I would love to save up and get another Deri Doll of the dress Anne wore to her execution – the deep red underskirt and the dark gray gown trimmed in fur. *Sigh* maybe one day!
